It would take more time to restore the internet services across the country as the authorities concerned were trying to repair the cables burned in the Data Centre fire, said state minister for Posts, Telecommunications and ICT Zunaid Ahmad Palak on Saturday, reports UNB.
The fire at the Data Centre in the capital on Thursday gutted the cables of ISP, disrupting internet services across the country, he said while talking to reporters in Tejgaon area of the capital in the afternoon.
The broadband internet service across the country remained suspended since 9 pm on Thursday and the mobile internet from 1 pm on Thursday, disrupting many essential services and causing worries among people.
