The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Monday issued notices to 17 corrupt suspects, including former ministers Moudud Ahmed and Aminul Haque, directing them to submit their wealth statements within seven working days, reports UNB.
"The notices were issued today (Monday) asking the 17 corrupt suspects to submit their wealth statements within seven working days…and we'll start serving the notices to them (17 suspects) tomorrow (Tuesday)," a well-informed source told the news agency.
"The corrupt suspects have also been directed to come up with the account of wealth possessed by their dependants," the source added. The ACC Deputy Director Mobara Khanam signed the notices.
