Muhith meets Pranab

NEW DELHI, Feb 26: Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith, now on a visit to India, today called on his Indian counterpart Pranab Mukherjee and discussed matters of mutual interest. During the meeting, Muhith requested Pranab for the removal of 61 items of interest to Bangladesh from the sensitive list (negative), of which 40 items belong to textile and readymade garment sector. Pranab assured him that the issue would be looked into. He also suggested Bangladesh to utilise the US$ 1.0 billion line of credit as soon as possible. - BSS
