Nation relieved of stigma: PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said Thursday the rule of law has been established in the country through the execution of the verdict of Bangabandhu Murder Case, reports BSS.
The country will march forward on the path of democracy and rule of law with the execution of the verdict, she said while talking to leaders of the 14-party alliance and relatives at her official residence Jamuna.
Meanwhile, leaders of Bangladesh Awami League, its associated bodies and 14-party alliance and relatives of Bangabandhu family started rushing to the Prime Minister's official residence from last night after the execution of five killers of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his most family members.
Talking to them, Sheikh Hasina, elder daughter of Bangabandhu, also said that the stigma of the nation was removed through the execution of the verdict. She urged the people from all walks of lives to pray and express gratitude to almighty Allah for this.
Among others, Awami League Advisory Council leaders Amir Hossain Amu, Abdur Razzak, Tofail Ahmed, Suranjit Sengupta and Abdul Jalil, 14 party alliance leaders Rashed Khan Menon, Hasanul Haque Inu and Sharif Nurul Ambia, members of her cabinet, parliament members and people from all walks of life rushed to Jamuna and talked to the Prime Minister.
