New office timings for next 3 days

The government has announced new timings for both the government and non-government offices for the next three days beginning today (Sunday).

According to the new schedule, office activities will continue from 9:00am to 3:00pm until Tuesday.

Public Administration Minister Farhad Hossain  provided this information on Saturday afternoon.

Last week, the government declared a three-day general holiday from Sunday due to the situation surrounding the quota reform movement.

Subsequently, government offices were reopened on a limited scale from Wednesday.

Offices were open for four hours from 11:00am to 3:00pm on Wednesday and Thursday.

Banking activities and capital market transactions were conducted on those days within the reduced hours.

Meanwhile, the Bangladesh Bank has also set a new schedule of bank transactions.

The offices of banks will remain open from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
