PM likely to reach Dhaka today
LONDON, Sept 30: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived here on Sunday on her way back to Dhaka concluding her weeklong visit to the US to attend the 73rd UN General Assembly session. A British Airways flight, carrying the Prime Minister, landed at Heathrow at 7:15 am (local time). Sheikh Hasina will leave London for home by a VVIP flight of Biman at 06:20 pm (local time) Sunday. The flight is expected to land at Dhaka airport at 09:25am on Monday. — UNB
CCTVs to be installed for monitoring roads
Close-circuit television cameras (CCTVs) will be installed in highways and important roads to lessen the number of accidents. State Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives Md Mashiur Rahman Ranga said this while addressing a roundtable in the city. — UNB
