175,000 children go online for first time everyday: Unicef

More than 175,000 children are going online anew every day - a new child every half a second, says the UNICEF in a statement on Tuesday. No trade at Bhomra landport for 2nd day

SATKHIRA, Feb 6: Export-import activities between Bangladesh and India through Bhomra land port remained suspended on Tuesday for the second consecutive day due to an indefinite strike called by the Ghozadanga port C&F agent associations of India. The suspension for the second day triggered a gridlock in the port area. Around 1500 goods-laden trucks got stranded on both sides of the port following the strike, said Kazi Nowshad Dilwar Raju, president of Bhomra C&F agent associations. — UNB
