Madrasa girl in critical condition at DMCH
The condition of the female madrasa student from Feni, who suffered 80 per cent burns, is critical, doctors said Sunday. A seven-member medical board, formed by the Dhaka Medical College Hospital, examined the girl. The madrasa management committee has decided to provide Tk 2,00,000 for the victim's treatment. SC upholds Khaleda's bail in Cumilla case
The Appellate Division of Supreme Court upheld on Sunday a High Court order that granted BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia six-month interim bail in a murder case filed over the death of eight people in an arson attack in Cumilla in 2015. A four-member bench of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain passed the order rejecting a petition filed by the state. — UNB
