PM to brief media tomorrow

DMP bans firecrackers tonight

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has banned carrying of all types of explosives, crackers and explosion of firecrackers in the city ahead of Shab-e-Barat to be observed tonight (Tuesday night). The restriction will remain in force from 6:00 pm today (Tuesday) to 6:00 am tomorrow (Wednesday), according to a media release issued on Monday. — UNB
