PM returns home from Abu Dhabi today

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina returns home this (Wednesday) morning, wrapping up her weeklong visit to Germany and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). A VVIP flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage is scheduled to depart Abu Dhabi International Airport for Dhaka at 12:15am (local time) today (Wednesday) The plane will land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 7:00am (local time). — UNB

Seven hurt in gas cylinder blast in Khagrachhari

KHAGRACHHARI, Feb 19: At least seven people including a couple sustained burn injuries from an explosion at a gas cylinder shop at Khobongpuria village in Sadar upazila early Tuesday. Among them, four critically injured were transferred to Chattogram Medical College Hospital. The injured are Bhuban Bikash Chakma, 50, Abdul Hamid, 23, Md Jamir, 22, Mahmud Ullah, Newton Chakma, Mohiranjan Chakma and his wife Minoti Chakma. — UNB
