BGB sets free BSF troopers
Three troopers of BSF, held for trespassing into Bangladesh, were sent back Monday. Early in the day, the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members in Rajshahi's Paba Upazila detained Sub-Inspector Ramnath Singh and Constables Rakesh Kumar and Santosh Kumar. They were sent back around 1am after a BGB-BSF flag meeting, said Nayek Subedar Abu Taher, posted at the BGB border outpost. The BSF men claimed that they had accidently crossed the border during a patrol, according to local BGB Battalion Commander Shamim Masud Al Iftekhar. 15-kilometre tailback on Dhaka-Tangail highway
