Power plants to get more time for completion
The 'Speedy Supply of Power and Energy (Special Provision) (Amendment) Bill, 2018' was placed in Parliament on Wednesday, seeking to extend some provisions of the existing law for three years. The bill seeks the amendment as the construction of power plants for ensuring quick supply of power and energy in the country is yet to be complete. State Minister for Power and Energy Nasrul Hamid placed the Bill and it was sent to the respective parliamentary standing committee for further scrutiny. — UNB
