No corrupt would be spared: Matin

Communications Adviser MA Matin Sunday said none of the persons accused of corruption would be spared, reports BSS.
Actions would be taken following investigation against the corrupt person whoever he or she is, he said while talking to reporters after presiding over a meeting at the communications ministry in Secretariat.
Replying to a question, the adviser said the present reform initiatives in political parties are good. "Democracy must be in the parties first," he said.
Earlier, the communications adviser chaired a meeting, held to decide on the framework of a new inland container depot (ICD) at Sridham near railway station in Gazipur.
The feasibility study on construction of the World Bank assisted Tk 6.71 billion (671-crore) ICD was presented at the meeting.
The meeting expressed the hope that the construction of the depot would begin within the next year.
Senior officials, including secretaries of the ministries for shipping and communications, chairman of Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) and director general of Bangladesh Railway were present at the meeting, according to a press release.
