A rickshaw-puller was run over by a minibus near Matsya Bhaban in Kakrail in the morning Wednesday, the first working day after the Eid holiday. A speedy minibus ran over two rickshaws heading towards Kadam Foara near Matsya Bhaban at around 9:00 am.
One of the two rickshaw-pullers, Nazir Hossain (25), was declared dead when they were brought to DMCH.
