The government has taken up a project to develop modern refuelling facility at Osmani Airport in Sylhet to attract foreign airlines. "The state-owned Padma Oil Company will build the facilities at the Osmani Airport and they have already started necessary works," an official of the Planning Ministry said. The refuelling facilities would encourage domestic and international carriers to operate flights to and from Osmani International Airport. The official said the facilities, scheduled to be set up by June 2013, will have a capacity to refuel two aircraft at a time with maximum 300 kilolitres. — BSS
