Phone call to India from Bangladesh now cheaper

Bangladesh reduced Tuesday the phone call charge to India to Tk 12 per minute introducing the economy code of 012, an official statement said. "The new rate will be effective from October 14 when Taka 12 will be charged per minute for calling to India dialing 012 only from the state-run BTCL," the official statement said here Tuesday. It said the subscribers would also get the facilities of reduced pulse rate of 15 seconds from the same period. — BSS
