Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina returned home on Saturday morning concluding her five-day tour of Switzerland, reports BSS.

An Emirates Airlines flight carrying the Prime Minister and members of her entourage landed at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 10.55 am.

PM's advisers HT Imam and Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury, Principal Secretary Dr Kamal Abdul Naser and PM's military secretary Lt. Gen. Mia Mohammad Zainul Abedin received the Prime Minister at the airport.

Sheikh Hasina left the country for Switzerland on January 15 to attend the 47th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) at the invitation of Executive Chairman of the WEF Prof Klaus Schwab. The WEF annual meeting was held in Davos from January 17 to 20 and Sheikh Hasina was the first elected Bangladeshi leader to attend the high profile annual global meeting that draws statesmen, top business leaders and the intelligentsia to discuss crucial global issues.

Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali and State Minister for ICT Junaid Ahmed Palok accompanied the Prime Minister during the visit.
