PM leaves for South Korea, Malaysia today

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina leaves here today (Saturday) on a five-day visit to South Korea and Malaysia from May 16, reports UNB.
On her way to Seoul, the Prime Minister and her entourage will make a stopover for about six hours in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to fly to Seoul by a flight of the Thai Airways on May 16, on the first such visit by a Bangladesh leader in 15 years.
In Seoul, the Prime Minister will hold bilateral talks with South Korean President Lee Myung-bak on May 18. The two leaders will discuss cooperation on trade, energy and development during the talks, officials said.
Several MOUs will be signed between the two countries on infrastructure development, economic assistance, environment and cultural exchange.
