Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will speak at a press conference today (Saturday) on her five-day official visit to Myanmar and Indonesia. The press conference will be held at Gonobhaban at 5 pm, PM's Deputy Press Secretary Nazrul Islam said. Sheikh Hasina returned home Friday afternoon wrapping up her five-day official visit to Indonesia and neighbouring Myanmar. - BSS BB to release spl note on 40 yrs of victory Bangladesh Bank (BB) will issue a commemorative note of Taka 40 denomination marking 40 years of the country's victory in the War of Liberation. The first of its kind the note is expected to be released this month. "The BB has taken the initiative to release the Taka 40 commemorative note to mark the 40 years of victory," BB Currency Department General Manager Saiful Islam said. Meanwhile, ten thousand of commemorative notes have been printed at Securities and Printing Press in Gazipur, he said. - BSS
