PM to join UN confce on LDCs

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will leave Dhaka Saturday for Istanbul to attend the 4th UN Conference on Least Developed Countries (LDCs), beginning on May 9 in Turkey. The Bangladesh Premier and members of her entourage will fly for Istanbul, on a three-day official visit by an Emirates flight. Finance Minister A M A Muhith, Planning Minister A K Khandaker, Industries Minister Dilip Barua, Foreign Minister Dr Dipu Moni, State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Dr Shirin Sharmin Choudhury and Ambassador-At-Large M Ziauddin, among others, will accompany the PM. -BSS
