Power hungry farmers gherao Rajshahi DC office

RAJSHAHI, Mar 25 : Several thousand farmers of Poba and Godagari upazilas staged demonstration and gheraoed the DC office Thursday demanding 18-20 hours uninterrupted electricity supply to irrigate their boro fields. They also held a rally in front of the DC office, protesting against frequent power outages and load shedding. -UNB
