Power sector single borrower exposure limit put on hold

The central bank has put on hold the single borrower exposure limit for power sector for the next six months to facilitate the country's electricity generation.
The Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued a notification in this connection on Tuesday and asked the managing directors and chief executive officers of all the scheduled banks to follow the instructions properly.
