Prof Dr Alauddin made new CU VC

CHITTAGONG, Dec 9: Former pro vice-chancellor professor Dr Mohammad Alauddin has been appointed vice-chancellor (VC) of Chittagong University. President Mohammad Zillur Rahman, also the chancellor of the university, made the appointment Thursday and asked Dr Alauddin to discharge his duties as the acting vice-chancellor until a regular VC is appointed.
