Ramadan from tomorrow

Muslims in Bangladesh will begin fasting tomorrow (Friday), as the National Moon Sighting Committee confirmed Ramadan would begin on that day. The moon for the month of Ramadan of the Islamic calendar year 1439 was not sighted in any part of the country on Wednesday, the committee said after a meeting at the Islamic Foundation in the evening. Religious Affairs Minister Matior Rahaman announced the decision.
