Rashedul, Smrity on 7-day remand

A Dhaka court Saturday placed Rashedul Kabir and his second wife Razia Sultana Smrity on seven day remand when police produced the couple before the court. Metropolitan Magistrate M Nazrul Islam granted the remand for seven days instead of 10 days as sought by the police. Earlier, Detective Branch of police arrested Rashedul and Smrity from Pizza Hut in Gulshan. — UNB
