Torrential downpour throughout the country during the last two days inundated low lying city areas and halted usual business activities causing untold sufferings to the people in the capital.
Most of the city roads and streets were submerged due to incessant rainfall, that also created heavy traffic jams and forced retailers to keep their shutters down.
