Restaurant owner killed for Tk 3

CHITTAGONG, Dec 3: Owner of a restaurant, Monjurul Alam (60), was killed by his customer upon a squabble for Tk 3.00 only in Shulakbahar area in the city Thursday. The police said, Abdul Hakim (55) having dined in Chistia Bhatghar at Shulakbahar under Panchlaish police station wanted to pay a bill of Tk 20 to the cashier at 1:15pm. The man in the counter said the bill was Tk 23, not Tk 20. Both the men got themselves locked in a squabble. At one stage Hakim hit the man on the head leading to his death.
