Screen all inbound passengers to check Ebola virus: HC

The High Court (HC) has instructed the concerned authority to undertake necessary steps at all the ports including the International Airports to detect the deadly Ebola virus, reports BSS.
As per the estimation by the World Health Organisation (WHO), the so far death tolls around the world due to the virus reached to 4,555.
A division bench of the High Court comprising with Justice Naima Haider and Justice Jahangir Hossain gave the directive after preliminary hearing of a writ petition in the city Monday.
Dr M Younus Ali Akanda, a lawyer of the Supreme Court, filed the writ on Thursday. The court has issued rule besides the interim order, Younus Ali told the journalists.
In the rule, the court has asked why it [the court] would not give directives to take necessary steps at all the ports in the country including the airports to detect the deadly Ebola virus.
