Security beefed up at Ctg airport

CHITTAGONG, April 09: Security measures have been beefed up at Chittagong Shah Amanat International Airport on a hijacking alert, sources said. The airport has been kept under constant surveillance following tightening of security measures at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka. Additional police and Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel were deployed in and around the airport Thursday night, apart from keeping the existing law-enforcers of the airport on high alert.
