Shah Alam made acting BLC chairman

Bangladesh Law Commission (BLC) member Prof Dr M Shah Alam has been given the charge of chairman of the Commission. He will discharge this duty until a chairman is appointed by the government, said an official handout Tuesday. The post of the BLC chairman fell vacant with the resignation of Justice MA Rashid on October 19. — UNB
