Sri Lanka won by 8 wickets with 77 balls remaining against the Dutch in the final round-one match of the Twenty20 World Cup on Friday in Sharjah.
Sri Lanka scored 45 for two in 7.1 overs to advance into the Super 12s round beginning today with Australia taking on South Africa and England facing West Indies.
Earlier, Wanindu Hasaranga and Lahiru Kumara took three wickets each as Sri Lanka dismissed Netherlands for a paltry 44.
The Netherlands, survived just 10 overs after being invited to bat first in Sharjah.
