Sri Lanka beat India to clinch IDEA Cup title

Sri Lanka clinched the title of the IDEA Cup tri-nation tournament beating India by four wickets in the keenly contested final at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka Wednesday, reports UNB.
Chasing India's total of 245, Sri Lanka reached the target making 249 runs in 48.3 overs for the loss of six wickets.
Despite losing opener Upal Tharanga (0), another opener Tillakaratne Dilshan pairing with skipper Kumar Sangakkara took Sri Lanka to a safer position.
