SSC exam deferred to Feb 11 for SA Games

The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations-2010 will now begin on February 11 instead of February 1 on account of the 11th South Asian Games to be held in Bangladesh. An official announcement said the decision on deferment of the major public exams was taken Monday in an emergency meeting with the chairmen of the education boards at the education ministry with Education Secretary Syed Ataur Rahman in the chair. — UNB
