Three Ashuganj units back in operation

BRAHMANBARIA, June 06: Three units of Ashuganj power station, which were shut down Friday due to faulty gas lines, were back online Saturday. Power supply to the national grid was boosted by 146 megawatts from the morning with the units at work again. Units GT1 and GT2 producing 56 megawatts each and an ST unit producing 34 megawatts went down at 10:00am Friday, said Managing Director of the centre Abdul Khaleq. -- bdnews24.com
