Three kg gold seized at Ctg airport

CHITTAGONG, Sept 3: Customs officials in cooperation with law enforcers Thursday recovered 3.3 kilograms of gold from a flight at Chittagong Shah Amanat International Airport. Nobody instantly claimed ownership of the gold worth around Tk 75 million. Patenga police said cleaners of the airport found the gold stuffed in 4 bags from the flight of the Oman Airways that landed at the airport in the morning. Initially, this created bomb hoax panic at the airport. The airport issued a red alert. Explosive experts from RAB rushed to the spot and seized the gold wrapped by polythene paper.
