Three units of Ashuganj power plant shut down

BRAHMANBARIA, June 16: Three units of Ashuganj Power Station having a total of 450MW power generation capacity were shut down Wednesday due to technical fault. Concerned sources said No. 3 unit was at first shut down at 8:10am. Later, the circuit breaker caught fire, resulting in the shut down of No. 4 and 5 units. — UNB
