Two killed in gunbattle with RAB at Savar

Two alleged terrorists were killed in a gunbattle between members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) and a group of terrorists at Singair Balughat of Savar off the city Wednesday night. Two members of the elite force also sustained injuries during the gunbattle, police said. The dead were identified as Khokan Mia (31) and Shimul (30). Both of the deceased were accomplices of 'terrorist' VP Helal. Police with the help of RAB members also recovered two revolvers, five bullets, two husks of bullet, one motorcycle and two mobile phones from the spot. —BSS
