A three-member administrative board comprising a representative of the United Arab Emirates and two officials of the Home Ministry has been formed to look into compensation for the young victims who were used as camel jockeys in the UAE. An official release said the UAE government has agreed to pay compensation to the Bangladeshi young boys below 18 years of age, who were engaged as camel jockeys in that country since January 1993 and suffered from physical or mental wounds. All affected Bangladeshi camel jockeys have been advised to submit details in prescribed forms along with documents to the Deputy Commissioner of their respective district by October 31. —UNB
