HABIGANJ, Oct 14: Unit 9 104-megawatt Shahjibazar Power Plant here was shut down early Wednesday due to technical fault. The unit, which has a capacity to generate 35MW power and add to national grid, developed technical fault after Tuesday midnight. Power plant`s official Azizul Islam said the unit automatically shut at dead of night after it shook following a combustion in its generator. Steps were underway to repair the fault. — UNB
