Amid criticisms over the question leaks in different public examinations, the government has decided to hold the Primary Education Completion Examination (PEC) with 100 per cent creative and competency-based questions from this year, reports UNB.
The National Academy for Primary Examination (NAPE) on Sunday issued a notice in this regard.
The structure of creative questions and mark distribution was finalised through a national workshop and as per the ministry's decision 100 per cent competency-based questions would be formulated for each subject, the notice said.
In 2017, the PEC exam was held with 80 per cent competency-based questions while 65 per cent in 2016.
