Upon arrival at the HSIA, officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and IOM were present to receive and assist the returnees.
This repatriation is part of an ongoing effort by the Bangladesh government and IOM to bring home Bangladeshi nationals who have been stranded in Libya without legal documents.
The foreign ministry here in collaboration with the Bangladesh Embassy in Tripoli has been working closely with IOM to ensure the safe and dignified return of these vulnerable individuals, the release added.
