2 inter-dist trains to be launched in February

CHATTOGRAM, Jan 20: Two new inter-district train services, Saikat Express and Prabal Express, will begin to operate on the Chittagong-Cox's Bazar route on February 1.
The operations of the train services will remain closed on Mondays.
Trains of Saikat Express has been scheduled to depart Chattogram station at 6:15 am reaching Cox's Bazar station at 9:55 am, while at 8:15 pm the rail service will be provided on the route from Cox's Bazar station and commuters can expect to reach Chattogram station within three hours and 35 minutes.
On the other hand, train services of Prabal Express to begin at 10:35 am on the route from Cox's Bazar, reaching the final station in Chattogram at 2:25 PM.
Moreover, the operations of the train service from the Chattogram station to begin at 3:10 pm and travellers can expect to reach Cox's Bazar within three hours and 50 minutes.
Saikat Express will stop at eight stations during the journey on the route. The stations are: Sholoshahar, Janalihat, Patiya, Dohazari, Satkania, Chakaria, Dulahazara and Ramu.
Meanwhile, the 10 stations at which Prabal Express will stop are: Sholoshahar, Gomdandi, Patiya, Dohazari, Satkania, Lohagara, Chakaria, Dulahazara, Islamabad and Ramu.
