2 Jubo League men arrested for grabbing land of widow

COX'S BAZAR, Oct 2 (UNB): Two Jubo League cadres were arrested early today for grabbing homestead of a widow after failing to extort money from her.
Syed Hossain and Shahedul Karim, both in their early 20s, were picked up from their homes upon a case filed with the police by Halima Khatun, a widow of Kauapara in the town against 9 Jubo League activists on Friday.
The 55-year old Halima in his petition said the Jubo League cadres led by sadar upazila joint secretary Hasan demanded tolls from her that she could not afford to pay.
