COX'S BAZAR, March 11 (UNB): Amid a conflict between the Myanmar military and the armed rebel group in Myanmar's Rakhine, 29 members of Border Guard Police (BGP) took shelter again in Bangladesh on Monday, said BGB.
A total of 29 BGP members have taken refuge in Bangladesh from Angthapaya Camp of the BGP force through the border area of Bandarban's Jamchari union under Naikhongchhari BGB's Battalion 11, said Shariful Islam, public relations officer (PRO) of BGB.
Earlier in February, 330 members of Myanmar security forces had taken shelter in Bangladesh.
