389 more dengue patients hospitalized, highest this year

Some 389 dengue patients were hospitalized in the past 24 hours until Wednesday morning, which is the single-day highest of the calendar year.

With this, the total hospitalized cases reached to 9,837 this year, nearly one-third of which were reported in the first two weeks of September.

According to regular bulletin issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Dhaka division excluding Dhaka city reported 15 cases, Chattogram 57, Khulna 32, Rajshahi 4, Barishal 16, and Mymensingha one cases.
