3m likely affected in Haiti quake

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Jan 13(CNN) : A spokesman for the International Federation of the Red Cross warned Wednesday that up to 3.0 million people may have been affected by Tuesday's earthquake in Haiti.
Meanwhile, bdnews24.com adds, the Bangladesh Police were trying to confirm the safety of six officers in Haiti Wednesday, after the earthquake.
