4 of bridal party die as bus, truck collide in Bogra

BOGRA, Aug 31 (UNB): Four members of a bridal party were killed and 30 others injured when a bus and a truck collided head-on in Sadar Upazila on the Bogra-Rangpur Highway Friday afternoon. Police and local sources said the Rangpur-bound goods-laden truck collided with the Bogra-bound bus at Baghopara at about 4.0pm, killing three bus passengers on the spot and injuring 31 others.
Of the injured, 22 were admitted to Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital where another died. Three of the deceased were identified as Ferdous (8), Sakhina (50) of Rangpur and Rezia (52) of Bogra. The identity of another deceased, a man, could not be known immediately.-UNB
