51st anniversary of martyrdom

The 51st anniversary of martyrdom of five members of a family, who were brutally murdered by the Pakistani army and their collaborators, Urdu-speaking non-Bengalis, at Saidpur in Nilphamari, will be observed tomorrow.
The deceased included Engineer Fazlur Rahman, his wife Hosne Akhter and their three sons -- Mustafizur Rahman (Monju), Hasinur Rahman (Hiron), Azizur Rahman.
Engr Fazlur Rahman's another son Saidur Rahman and two daughters -- Dilruba Khatun and late Camellia Rahman (Kakon) had escaped the brutality narrowly. Saidur Rahman is founder (president) of Projonmo '71.
