The total tally of infections among them now stands at 8,005, said the BMA, the apex body of physicians, in a media statement on Monday.
The BMA expressed deep condolences to the families of the victims, saying that the contribution of the physicians in this trying time must not be forgotten.
According to 'Our Media, Our Rights', 904 journalists of some 187 national and regional newspapers, TV, online media and other platforms were infected with the superbug.
At least 20 journalists died from coronavirus infection and 11 more expired with corona-like symptoms until September 27 since the first death in the virus was confirmed on March 18.
Media people are bearing the brunt of viral infections for their on-the-spot job of covering events, observed the local journalists' platform.
Among the total infections, some 610 were from the capital city of Dhaka, it said, adding that some 798 newsmen have so far recovered and joined their jobs.
