CHITTAGONG, May 13: A trainer helicopter of Bangladesh Air Force crashed on a paddy field off the runway of Chittagong Int’l Airport Wednesday, leaving three injured.
The accident occurred as the MIA 17-410 had lost control at around 11.06 am after it had taken off from the Air Force Zahurul Haque Base at Patenga. Trainer squadron leader Shefayet and flight engineer Sergeant Ferdous were injured critically while the trainee pilot officer Md Fuad received minor injury.
